WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman Dale E. Kildee (D-MI) announced today that he has secured $700,000 in federal funding for the Genesee County Drain Commission. This funding was secured in the Interior and Environment Appropriations Bill, which passed the House Appropriations Subcommittee late yesterday. The bill still must be approved by the full House and Senate before it can be signed into law.
Bill will provide retroactive payments to an estimated 104,000 families in Michigan who lost benefits due to Senate stalling
